FMC: Employment
We at Federal Materials Company believe in six key initiatives that help insure FMC’s long term sustainability. One of these is to be the Employer of Choice. Some strides we made in 2007 to obtain this goal are as follows:
- Develop the Mixer Operator Task Force
- Continue development training programs
- New Wellness Program:
In 2008 Federal Materials Company is excited to offer assistance to all employees on improving wellness. In order to accomplish this we have implemented the following items:
- Humana Health Coaches:
Humana is offering a voluntary health coaching program to employees to assist you and your family with creating personalized strategies to improve nutrition, manage back pain, begin a weight loss program, as well as assistance with smoking cessation.
- Humana Health Assessment:
This personal health assessment, provided by Humana, has several beneficial features. First, it will give you an idea of how your current health compares against the nationwide average. The assessment results will also generate to you several tips on improving your health, as well as initiate a communication link between you and the nurses at Humana. These nurses can assist you with managing and formulating an improvement plan for common health conditions.
We know that our people are our greatest asset and we will continue to invest into our team’s personal and professional development. Currently, over half of our mixer operators are Certified Concrete Delivery Professionals by the NRMCA. Due to our expectations for high quality customer service, we are always looking for quality employees. If you are in the market for a good job with a growing company, please contact us.
